Kinusaiga Kit Beach Design

Create a colourful, textured fabric picture with this relaxing Kinusaiga craft kit. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form sometimes described as “painting with fabric”. Instead of sewing, you tuck pieces of fabric into grooves in a foam board to build up a vibrant design.

The finished picture shows a tropical beach at sunset, with a palm tree, glowing sun and rolling waves. Layered fabrics bring colour and texture to the scene, making the finished artwork a lovely piece to display at home or give as a handmade gift.

The kit includes the materials and tools you need to get started, along with clear instructions to guide you through the project. Follow the printed pattern, cut the grooves in the foam board, then use the stitch ripper to tuck in the assorted fabrics and bring the picture to life. No sewing is required, making this a fun craft to try at your own pace.

Your kit contains:

• Foam board
• Assorted fabrics
• Stitch ripper
• Craft knife
• Printed pattern on adhesive paper
• White frame
• Instructions

Once complete, place your artwork in the included frame and enjoy a colourful, handmade display. Designed and made in the UK.

Please take care when using the craft knife and stitch ripper.
