The kit contains all that is needed to start off in resin casting except pigments. One kg tin of Polyester base resin, 1kg of filler powder, also called stone powder, 20 ml of hardener for resin (Catalyst), a pair of vinyl gloves and full instructions. The kit is designed for opaque casting into moulds, such as rubber latex and silicone rubber moulds. The polyester resin supplied is an unfilled resin that can be filled up to a loading of 70 filler to 30 resin. Use the catalyst/hardener to harden, 2%. Metal powders can be used for that solid metal look. Use in a well-ventilated workspace.
